Argentine driver Franco Colapinto concluded this week's pre-season tests in Bahrain, feeling very positive and enthusiastic about what lies ahead. The start of the week was challenging for Colapinto, as on Wednesday he caused the first red flag of the season and finished 18th out of 18 drivers who took to the track. After not running on Thursday, the Argentine contested both Friday sessions, standing out with an eighth-place finish and completing over 100 laps. This allowed Colapinto to build his confidence in the Alpine A526 he will race this year, a car that aims to be one of the finishers in the points zone, at least in the first races. According to the Argentine News Agency, Colapinto's activities will continue next week with the final pre-season tests, also to be held at the Bahrain International Circuit. They will begin on Wednesday, February 18th, and run until Friday, the 20th, marking the end of the season for the top-tier drivers.
